Hot walk in Pigalle

Yesterday I was invited at a little family dinner. I took the metro and got out a few stops before, to walk a little in the sun and they to get a few nice shots.

I ended up in Pigalle, famous Paris neighborhood, among many things, for this one:

There is nothing much else here, nothing really different from many other cities. Pigalle is not the same as 20 years ago, now it’s just a tourist attraction.

Still, glimpses of past meet the present.

There still are some old establishments…

I only heard stories about the place, from people that lived here all their life. Now during the day it’s just another more or less friendly neighborhood.

Maybe next time I’ll try a walk at night and see what comes..
